Several revisions or clarifications to club Playing Rules for 2016 have been adopted by the Board of Directors. Club Commissioner Bobby Ellison noted that the rules do not apply the 90-minute time limit to league championship games of the three 70-and-older leagues. The “flip-flop” rule for one-sided games is also clarified, as are the tie-breaker and courtesy runner rules.
Ellison said the revisions were not significant enough to merit a reprinting of the rule book. The revisions and clarifications are provided here:
- Howe Park Days
(Leagues 1, 7 and 8)
- Sacramento Softball Complex Days
(Leagues 2 and 6)
- Sacramento Softball Complex Nights
(Leagues 3, 4 and 5)
